successfully in startups to Fortune 500 organizations, her operations experience has spanned domestic and international value chains including product launch, P&L management, commercial negotiations, and operations business advisory.

She joins Tatte following tenure at Apple Inc., where she drove operational and supply chain improvements across the Mac, Watch, and Audio product lines.

Tatte’s rooted commitment to product quality initially hooked her as she paired perfect lattes and late night studies through graduate school in Kendall square. It was this same product excellence that enticed her to join the company’s operations team full time 5 years later. She is thrilled to be back in Boston, her childhood home and the origin of her first food love: rugelach.

Rachel holds a B.S. from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

love of gardening and Jamie’s grandmother’s Sunday family meals are still some of her most cherished food memories.

Jamie’s first job was at a local family restaurant in her hometown starting at the age of 14, sparking what would end up being a career commitment to the hospitality industry. After graduating high school, Jamie moved to Boston to attend Emmanuel College, graduating with a degree in Business Management and Marketing.  Jamie’s early management career began with the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston and Washington DC before becoming Food and Beverage Director for New England Culinary Institute in Burlington and Montpelier, Vermont.  It was there that Jamie ventured into retail for the first time with the opening of the school’s first retail student-run bakery in Montpelier, Vermont.  It was then that she fell in love with retail and the notion of the neighborhood bakery and café as the “third place”.

Since then Jamie has enjoyed a career of working in key leadership roles for great brands on their growing edge, having moved on to Chicago to become a GM trainer for Corner Bakery and later, coming back to Boston to take on key regional leadership roles at Whole Foods Market. During her time at Whole Foods, Jamie moved to London to support the first flagship Whole Foods Market in London, UK and spent five years travelling and seeking out the vibrant and inspirational food markets and high street food shops of London – and Europe.

Most recently, Jamie comes to us from Eataly after completing two successful store openings in her role as GM, QSR for both the Eataly WTC and Boston locations. Jamie’s passion for creating great food experiences is why she has come to Tatte and she is excited to support our teams in being their neighborhood’s beloved “third place”.

.  His last position at Joe’s was as a Regional Director for the Mid Atlantic where helped the company expand through Virginia and Maryland.  He later joined The Palm Restaurant in Boston’s Financial District as the General Manager and most recently, Jamie was the Director of Operations for Finz and Sea Level in Salem.

Jamie is excited to bring his love for hospitality and customer service to Tatte.  He is eager to work with the team.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree at University of Massachusetts Amherst, Julie took on her first management role with a specialty food store in Worcester. Here, she expanded her knowledge of quality, imported ingredients while focusing on personal and attentive service.
After deciding to make the move to Boston, Julie knew that her passion for working with people and baking made her a perfect fit for Tatte. She joined as the Assistant General Manager for Tatte Third Street. At Third Street, she gained new knowledge in managing a bakery and cafe.
Julie then went on to be the General Manager of Tatte’s first location in Brookline. As the GM, Julie use her experience and knowledge to develop a strong team of employees and create memorable customer experiences.

positions to help gain knowledge in all aspects of the industry. After falling in love with front of house operations, he decided to pursue a career in management and got his first leadership role with Barcelona Wine Bar in his home town.
In 2012, Tyler took his love for hospitality and moved to Boston to continue his management career. Throughout the last 6 years in Boston, Tyler has helped operate and also open some of the city’s busiest hot spots from Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar to Area Four.
Tyler is excited to be back in his favorite neighborhood, Kendall Square, and to be a part of the growing Tatte family at Third St.

ingrained in him from an early age, often helping his mother create and test recipes. Jake was able to absorb the bakery culture and gain valuable hospitality experience in his family’s business, while attending Newton North High School.

After adventuring out west to the University of Colorado Boulder, Jake returned home to manage Rosie’s, which eventually expanded to multiple locations in the greater Boston area. Eventually, the family sold the business, and after leading the transition team, Jake set off on his own while receiving his MBA at the University of Massachusetts.

A long time guest, he decided to combine his passions for bakery and management into a career at Tatte. In June of 2018, Jake became AGM for the Third Street location, and is now excited to take the next step in his journey as GM of Tatte Broadway.

around the age of sixteen and immediately knew it was something she loved. Claire moved to Boston in 2007 for college and graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Music Business. Music has always been another main interest of Claire’s. While working in restaurants during college to pay the bills she realized she had a talent and passion for this industry. Claire worked for Legal Sea Foods in Boston for nine years working in multiple positions.

Claire started with Tatte in September 2017 as AGM at the Charles St. location and then transitioned to the Brookline café.   She is very excited to take on her new role as the GM of Main St. and to continue to share all the wonderful things Tatte has to offer.

Mark worked his way up to management with McCormick & Schmick and eventually joined the Back Bay Restaurant Group where he earned his first General Manager position. Mark has worked as a general manager in both corporate and private settings, making the guest experience priority. Mark is excited to join Tatte for the food, the culture, and the terrific team of people within it.

in different positions in the hospitality industry.  Working with companies such as TGI Fridays and most recently Not Your Average Joe’s, where she was able to help train new teams and assist in opening new restaurants.

Katie has been blessed to work all over the US with her journey speaking to young people all over the globe as a member of SkillsUSA, an organization which helps prepare students for America’s Workforce. She has trained and developed students in both leadership and professional development in almost 50 states.

In January 2018, Katie joined Tatte Bakery as the Assistant General Manager for Harvard Square where she was able to use her experience as well as gain new knowledge of a new concept.  Katie is happy to take on the General Manager position for Harvard Square.

surrounding meals, Gabriella set her eyes on The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. She worked at Apple Pie Bakery Café while working towards her Bachelors in Business Administration from the CIA. During this time, she spent a semester in the Napa Valley learning about the creation of a brand and how to market goods.

Gabriella came to Tatte as Assistant General Manager of Tatte Brookline and soon transferred to be the AGM of Tatte Harvard Square. Here, she was able to sharpen her management skills and establish herself as a leader. She is excited to take the next step in her career, as GM of Tatte Fenway.

enabled her to be exposed to many new cultures and helped foster her love of the many different foods the world has to offer.  After graduating from Hingham High School Megan ventured south, where she attended the University of Kentucky, but a few years ago she decided it was time to come home to Boston.

Since returning home to Massachusetts Megan has worked for the Houstons Restaurant Company and eventually moved on to join the opening team at Eataly, sharpening her restaurant management skills and rising to the position of Assistant General Manager of Restaurants. Megan joined our team as the AGM of the Back Bay store, she is very excited to be part of the Tatte family and hopes to share her experiences in the industry with her team at Back Bay.
STEVEN ROSARIO

child was to set the table and decorate for dinner parties. This lead him to his first job in restaurants at the age of 15 as a dish washer at a local Bistro in his home town of Montgomery, New York. Work for the next three years truly solidified his love for restaurant industry. Steven enrolled at The Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park where he graduated top of his class with his Bachelors in Hospitality Management (BPS).

Shortly after graduating Steven began his management career officially as a manager for the newly opened French concept Maison Kayser, this truly was a platform for Steven to apply all his new found knowledge and developed his method of leadership and management.

Steven moved West to attend the CIA at Greystone in the Napa Valley to pursue in his Masters in Advance Beverage and Hospitality where he graduated with honors and was awarded the title Certified Sommelier by The Court of Master Sommeliers.

In his return to the east coast Steven joined the Garces Group, a Philidelphia based restaurant group that was opening there first New York foray, Amada and here was the Service Director on the open management team in NewYork’s Finacial District.

In the spring of 2017 Steven relocated to Boston and had the opportunity to join Tzurit and her team at Tatte as the General Manager of Tatte Back Bay Café and is now excited to open Tatte Pier 4 and lead the team.

 

Dillard Taylor

himself, which left him in quite the bind while studying and living abroad in Dublin, Ireland. There he got his first experiences in hospitality waiting tables in a small, but busy, cafe while teaching himself to cook all his favorite memories from home.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree, Dillard did a stint teaching English in China before coming to Boston, where he worked for the Coda Group, including Canary Square and Coda.

Dillard joined Tatte in April 2016 as the general manager of Tatte Third street, where he was able to work with the third street team and bakery team.  In August 2017, he took over the general manager roll of Tatte Main street where he shared his passion for delivering great customer service with his team.  Dillard is excited to open Tatte Northeastern and continue to share his love for customers and hospitality with his new team at Northeastern.

Ivan grew up in Newton, MA where his love for all things food started when he was a young teen while working his first job as a baker’s apprentice. In high school he enrolled in the Read More

Culinary Arts program at Newton North which opened his eyes to the world of hospitality. Encouraged by his mother, he entered a recipe contest his senior year which won him a scholarship to Johnson and Wales University. And as they say– the rest is history.

After graduating from JWU with a degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Business he moved back to Boston to start his career, working at some of Boston’s best restaurants from Grill 23 to Jody Adam’s Rialto in Cambridge.

With over 15 years of hospitality management experience, Ivan is excited to join the Tatte family and take on his new role as General Manager of Tatte Summer Street.
