ABOUT TATTE
What does Tatte mean?
Tatte, which rhymes with “latte,” is inspired by a family nickname. One day in 2007, Tzurit’s then-toddler daughter, pointed to a picture of her maternal grandmother and, out of the blue, said, “Tatte, Tatte!” At the time, Tzurit was dreaming of starting her baking business — and reminiscing about learning to bake alongside her mother. Tzurit soon found that in sharing what she baked with other people, she felt more connected to her community. It was exactly what she hoped her new business would accomplish. From there, Tatte was born, and the rest is delicious history.
What kind of food do you serve?
In addition to the pastries and desserts that made us famous, we also serve a seasonal menu with Israeli, Mediterranean, and European influences. Our all-day menu consists of breakfast sandwiches and plates; tartines; quiches; soups; sandwiches; salads; grain bowls; lunch/dinner plates; and our signature shakshukas. On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, we offer a special brunch menu with additional dishes. Look for sweet or savory French toast, Greek-style pancakes, and more…
What beverages do you serve?
Our cafès have coffee bars where skilled baristas handcraft an array of iced and hot coffee-based beverages, including signature lattes: black sesame, pistachio and our house latte, which is made with honey-halva and cardamom. We also offer hot and iced teas, hot chocolate, housemade sodas and lemonades, juice and water.
I have dietary restrictions. What can you offer me?
On our menus, you’ll find plentiful vegetarian options, many of which can be made vegan. We also offer many dishes made without gluten. Our menu lists each item’s common allergens. ORDERING & DELIVERY
How do I place an order?
You can place orders in-café for dine in or takeout. You can also order for pickup or delivery directly from our website. Delivery options via DoorDash and UberEats.
Are your desserts and other baked goods available for special order?
Yes, you can place a special order for our cakes, tarts, and gift boxes for local pick-up at any of our cafés. To place an order or to see all of our offerings, please see our special order page and select the cafè where you would like to pick up your order. Please note that orders take 48 hours to fulfill.
Do you ship your products?
At this time we do not offer shipping.
I had an issue with my café order. Who should I talk to?
We’re sorry your experience was anything less than outstanding. We’d like to make it right. Please reach out to contact@tattebakery.com and we will reply to you within 24-48 hours.

RESERVATIONS, EVENTS, CATERING
Do you take reservations?
Tatte is walk-in only and all of our seating is first-come, first-serve.
Do you offer catering services?
Yes, we do offer catering in both the Boston & DC areas. View our catering menu and locations here. We’re able to accommodate for pickup and delivery at our catering kitchens for orders placed within a 24-hour timeframe. For more information, contact us directly at catering@tattebakery.com.
What is the minimum size for a catering order?
If you’re ordering for ten or more people and the order is at least $100, catering is the way to go.
Does Tatte set up the food and beverages for catering orders?
All food and beverages in catering orders come packed in large white paper bags with handles, either delivered to the address specified on the order or available for pick-up by the customer at our catering kitchen. Assortments are packaged in custom Tatte boxes, ready to be displayed on your serving table for sharing at your event.
Do you host private events?
We do not host private events at this time.
ALLERGIES & NUTRITION
Do you have menu options for those with allergies?
We indicate allergens in every dish on our menus, which you can view here. Depending on the severity of your allergies, we’d suggest being cautious when ordering any of our baked goods, as we do use all major allergens in our kitchens. Therefore, we cannot guarantee no cross-contamination. Please mention any allergies to our staff and we’ll be happy to walk you through our menu. If you have any specific allergy-related questions, please reach out to us at contact@tattebakery.com.
Do you offer any gluten-friendly options?
Yes, we offer many gluten-friendly options on our menu. We use the term “gluten-friendly” instead of “gluten-free”, as we use gluten in our bakeries & kitchens and cannot guarantee that there is no cross-contamination. Our staff will be happy to guide you through our gluten-friendly menu options. If you have any specific gluten-related questions, please reach out to us at contact@tattebakery.com.
Are you a kosher establishment?
Our bakeries and kitchens are not certified kosher.
Where can I find nutritional information for your dishes?
Allergen and nutritional information for all of our dishes can be found here. Caloric information is also available on our in-store and online menus. For any specific ingredient-related questions, please reach out to us at contact@tattebakery.com.
GIFT CARDS
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we offer physical gift cards, which can be purchased at any of our locations. You can also purchase digital gift cards here for delivery via text or email at the day/time of your choice. All gift cards can be used at any of our cafés or for online takeout orders. Gift cards cannot be used to pay for delivery orders, as those use a third-party platform to process payment.
OTHER QUESTIONS
Does Tatte accept donation requests from schools, nonprofit organizations or community groups? If so, what is the application process?
We are proud to support our local communities through in-kind donations. Every request we receive is given careful consideration. To submit a donation request, please fill out our online donation form. Please allow a minimum of 30 days for requests to be considered.
Does Tatte make donations to individuals or fund scholarships?
We are not able to support individual or scholarship requests at this time.
